If we use the electric toothbrush, does the vibration of toothbrush effect tooth structure, gum or nerves?
The model of the toothbrush vibration will be designed by the level and quantity based on the research standard of each organizations. There are 3 major categories such as Electric, Sonic and Ultrasonic. The US FDA standard of the vibration is 16 MHz suitable for the safety of consumers. However the hazardous issue to tooth structure health is the wrong usage in accordance to the direction of electric toothbrush vibration. For example, the use of toothbrush which has an up-down movement pressed too closed the edge of gum, it may create any injuries to gum or any gum recession consequently. We usually brush by moving toothbrush in order to clean all spaces. We can not specify the weight of the pressing on each spaces. Because each person has no equal hand press weight, it causes some people use the toothbrush safely. However some people feel hurt to the gum because they get used to the regular toothbrush by using the same pressing weight as the regular toothbrushing.
